PRODUCTION OPERATOR 1 -MILFORD

Job Purpose

Perform shaped charge  or gun loading assembly procedures in a moderate to fast pace hands-on assembly process.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Production Operator 1:

 

Performs duties in a safety intensive environment where everyone’s safety is paramount.

Works on a team, while maintaining a clean and well organized work area. 

Complies with safety, quality and job specific policies and procedures and takes appropriate action when they are aware of any non-conformance.

Works under direct supervision of trainer and production foreman.

Demonstrates that they can meet the general requirements and job duties of the position with normal supervision.

Performs normal requirements for operating production presses.

This position requires on-site presence to perform the essential duties.

Other duties as assigned.

Production Operator 2:

Demonstrates above average competence as a Production Operator 1.

Performs job duties with minimum supervision, and with thoroughness and completeness.

Able to perform a full rotation (all four stations) on any production line.

Supports Team Leaders, Supervisors and company goals.

Demonstrates strong understanding of safety, quality and work instructions.

Familiarizes with completes applicable paperwork per part number.

Demonstrates strong leadership behavior, acting as a positive role model for others.

This position requires on-site presence to perform essential duties.

Other duties as assigned.

Production Operator 3:

Meets all desired qualifications for Production Operator 2.

Understands and can perform all given work instructions without direct supervision.

Has excellent understanding of all required paperwork pertaining to gun loading manufacturing.

Demonstrates strong leadership behavior, acting as a positive role model for others.

This position requires on-site presence to perform essential duties.

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Required Skills/Experience

Education and Training

High school or the equivalent is preferred.

Experience

Production Operator 1:

Zero to one year of relevant industry experience in shaped charge manufacturing.

Production Operator 2:

One year of relevant industry experience in shaped charge manufacturing.

Production Operator 3:

Two years of relevant industry experience in shaped charge manufacturing.

Technical Requirements

Knowledgeable of quality systems (ISO, CE, etc.).

Good hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability.

Able to read, understand, learn and follow written and verbal safety, quality and work instructions.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

Authorized to work in the United States.

Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.

Must be US citizen, or lawful permanent resident of the United States (student Visa does not quality), in accordance with ATF regulations.

Bilingual a plus.
