Job Purpose

The Service Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of the assembly, disassembly, and repair of Hunting owed drilling tools.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assemble and/or disassemble tools to Hunting / Customer specification.

  • Report any situations that impair efficient assembly, disassembly and repair to the Lead Motor Tech or Operations Manager.

  • Document assembly and/or disassembly as required by Hunting / Customer specifications.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance of assembly and disassembly equipment.

  • Perform housekeeping activities to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

  • Safe operations of support equipment including (forklift, loader, overhead crane, torque machine).

  • Work in accordance with Hunting’s HSE policies and Safe Work Procedures.

  • Capable of going on call (weekends and after hours).

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills/Experience

A. Education and Training

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Mechanical experience a plus.

 

B. Expectations

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and to get along well with others.

  • Able to manage and work with people in a harmonious way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this positon.

 

C. Technical Requirements

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail.

     

D. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations

  • Must meet Hunting / OSHA forklift driver certification requirements.

Desired Skills/Experience

•Product knowledge of Drilling Tools.
•Oilfield (service) Experience.
