The Service Technician is responsible for performing all aspects of the assembly, disassembly, and repair of Hunting owed drilling tools.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble and/or disassemble tools to Hunting / Customer specification.
Report any situations that impair efficient assembly, disassembly and repair to the Lead Motor Tech or Operations Manager.
Document assembly and/or disassembly as required by Hunting / Customer specifications.
Perform scheduled maintenance of assembly and disassembly equipment.
Perform housekeeping activities to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Safe operations of support equipment including (forklift, loader, overhead crane, torque machine).
Work in accordance with Hunting’s HSE policies and Safe Work Procedures.
Capable of going on call (weekends and after hours).
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
A. Education and Training
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Mechanical experience a plus.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and to get along well with others.
- Able to manage and work with people in a harmonious way to accomplish the tasks assigned to this positon.
C. Technical Requirements
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
D. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Must meet Hunting / OSHA forklift driver certification requirements.
•Product knowledge of Drilling Tools.
•Oilfield (service) Experience.
