Maintenance Technician HR11-00053
The maintenance technician is responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and facilities, along with repair or coordination of repair with outside services.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain production equipment in safe, optimal operating condition to help ensure the protection of all plant employees and visitors.
Have general knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures.
Respond to trouble calls and resolve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufactuer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshotting malfunctions.
Notify management of any potential equipment issues or other noted abnormalities.
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of 1 year maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience in troubleshooting and operating CNC machines.
Experience interpreting machine blueprints and schematics, preferable electrical, mechanical and pneumatic.
Experience working with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications.
Experience with automation systems maintenance, stress relieving and various types of equipment controllers.
2 year technical degree or other certifications a plus
